The fabled “projector” modified amp circuit made famous by players like Blake Mills, Anthony Wilson, Tim Pierce, Dawes, David Ryan Harris, Susan Tedeschi, and more. This particular amplifier features the coveted “Bill Krinard” mod, and is notable for minimal circuit changes and a preference to prioritizing the sound of the amp.
Amp Specs: 1957 Bell and Howell Filmosound 385 Amplifier with Schumacher Transformers (same manufacturer as the Fender Tweed era), a unique 5879 tube and 12AX7s in the preamp section, 6V6GTs and a 5Y3GT tube rectifier in the power section. 15 watts. Rehoused in 2019 into a vintage army ammunition container.
