'56 5F1 Tweed Champ
'56 5F1 Tweed Champ
An incredible historic representation of a famous vintage amp used by countless guitarists. The smallest of the tweed series, the Champ has a distinctive growl when pushed into a saturated overdrive, and yet has a beautiful harmonically rich clean tone that is surprisingly full, despite its smaller speaker. This amp was profiled in its full range of volume, prioritizing trying to capture its wonderful touch-sensitivity and reaction to the volume knob.
Amp Specs: 1956 Fender 5F1 Champ. 1x6V6, 1x5Y3, 1x12AX7. 6-inch Jensen P6V Alnico Speaker.
